Worried your Business will take a Dive Because of Coronavirus?

Are you a business owner or self-employed, worried about the impact Coronavirus could have on your profits? There’s a lot of uncertainty in the air and there’s not a lot we can do about that. What we can do though, is make the most out of a bad situation and maximise the opportunity! Here are some tips from a designer’s point of view…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1: Make time for the aspects of your business that have been neglected. Do the things you’ve had on your list for months but haven’t started. Have you outgrown your DIY logo and need a rebrand? Do you need a fresh website to advertise your services? With a little more time on your hands, perhaps it’s time to start exploring these tasks you’ve been putting off.

2: With more time on our hands and less work to do, everyone is scrolling through social media! Take advantage of this, put a good strategy in place, and start posting. If you don’t know where to start, contact a designer and they’ll put you on the right track. It’s a great time to raise brand awareness and get people thinking about your business.

3: Get a brand audit. It’s a great place to start if you need some design advice or want to make sure you’re on track. Have a designer look at your brand as a whole and assess your logo, print materials, website and social media to see if there are areas you could improve on. Use the time wisely to improve your business’s image and thrive instead of just surviving! (Don’t worry - here at Graphic Content we can do these audits via video call, so you don’t have to leave the safety of your own home.)

Hopefully some of these tips will inspire you to do something positive in the circumstances. After all, when life gives you lemons… Have you got any more tips to add? Like and share this post to spread the word 🙌🏼
